What is this service?
Edward Bear is a playgroup for all babies and children of pre-school age. It meets on Thursdays 10.30am-12pm in the extension at St Peter’s Church, Great Totham.
It’s a friendly group with toys and crafts for the children, tea and coffee for the grown ups and plenty of biscuits and cakes for all. It offers parents / carers the chance to have a natter and get to know/make friends with local people while your little one plays in a relaxed and safe environment. There are also stories and a sing song. At the end the children can search for Edward Bear who hides in the church, plus have a go at ringing the bell!
There is no charge for the group but a small donation (or a packet of biscuits!) will be gratefully received.
Older siblings are welcome during school holidays.
