What is this service?
The Friendship Cafe, is held on the 2nd Monday of the month 10.30am-12pm at The Tollesbury Centre.
It is open to all who live and/or work in the four North Blackwater parishes of Tollesbury, Tolleshunt D’Arcy, Tolleshunt Major and Salcott-cum-Virley. Carers and those worried about memory loss are particularly welcome.
The group aims to reduce loneliness and isolation and have some fun. Activities include singing, chatting, playing simple games together, and of course drinking tea/coffee and eating cake. There is also the opportunity for further Parish Nurse and Parish Nurse Assistant support if required.
