What is this service?
This service is available to anybody in Essex whether a parent, family member, carer, professional or other person interested in issues affecting children with disabilities and special needs.
The helpline is open Monday to Friday 10am-4pm with a 24 hour answerphone.
It provides information on:
- National and local support groups.
- Health information about a disability or condition.
- Educational issues including access to Independent Parental Support.
- Sources of financial support including disability related benefits.
You can also sign up to the Families in Focus newsletter and bulletins about forthcoming events.
