What is this service?
The DSA helpline answers questions on any topic related to Down’s syndrome.
You can get in touch by telephone, email or video calls. The Helpline is available 10am-4pm Monday-Friday.
Topics the Information Team can offer support on include:
-Support for parents with a pre or post-natal diagnosis
-Benefits advice
-Education and development
-Social care, day-to-day support for adults
-Rights
-Health
-Speech, language and communication
-Complex needs
-Ageing and dementia
The Information Team is always happy to write letters on your behalf in cases where you may be struggling to get the support you need with local authorities or health services.
