What is this service?
Lunch Break is open 12-1.30pm every Tuesday and Wednesday in the small hall at Maldon Baptist Church except for the weeks before and after Christmas.
All are welcome to bring along a packed lunch and buy a cup of tea, coffee or soup as well as a good natter, and laugh.
There is also have a bric-a-brac stall, with donations going to help some of the vulnerable people living in desperate conditions in Bulgaria.
The Big Knit also takes places during Lunch Break in which they knit and crochet squares for blankets, tops, jumpers and cardigans for children and hats, gloves, scarves and socks for adults. The items are sent out to vulnerable people in Bulgaria. Needles and wool are available for those who would like to join in.
