What is this service?
Futures in Mind Welcome Cafes are open to adults 18+ who would like to meet others on their journey of recovery from substance and alcohol addiction and/or mental ill health, and where you feel included in friendly, safe, sociable activities and events. At the groups you can talk through any difficulties you have and socialise with people who will be empathetic and supportive.
The volunteers who run them are all people who have been affected by mental ill health and/or substance and alcohol addiction. They provide a friendly welcome and give support to others.
The Maldon Welcome Cafe is open on the 2nd Thursday of the month 10-11am.
