What is this service?
Yo-Yo is a community service for children and young people aged 4 to 18 years living in Mid Essex who have had someone significant to them diagnosed with a life-limiting illness. Specific bereavement referrals are accepted from 6 weeks after the death of that significant person.
They offer a range of support options including:
- 1 to 1 support
- Counselling
- Music, Art and Play Therapy
- Bespoke groups
- Workshops for parents and carers on how to support their child/young person
- Workshops for school staff and other agencies working with the child(ren)
Professionals and parents can refer with the consent of the child/young person by completing one of the forms below or young people can refer themselves using the 'Find Out More' button below.
